Review: “Love this school! When there are problems, they get fixed. Yes, there is homework, but it is really manageable, at least in the primary grades. The goal is not to get straight A’s but to be challenged. If you want your kid to be a straight A student only, this may not be the place for you. However my kids love it and are taught that failure is how people learn. The kids are exposed to “specials” which includes Mandarin, Engineering, Art, and Drama. It is a great balance of science and the arts. Driveline is a pain the first 2-3 weeks as there is an increase in students and traffic year after year. This year only goes up to 10th grade, next year will be 11th, and the year after that will be 12th. So each year, a new grade gets added which means more traffic. The teachers are wonderful and my kids are excited to go to school every day.”

Review: “Odyssey is a great school! I love that my kids have already read so many amazing books! They get to read all the classics and I'm truly jealous because I love literature and wish I had that opportunity growing up. I really like that they teach Spanish, music to all students via their instrument of choice, a health and physical education program in which there is actually a teacher coordinating different activities. I even like their method of Peaceful Playground for recess which means being involved in something not just sitting around. My kids have also had the opportunity for great field trips like Catalina Island, etc. I also love that they wear uniforms, saves us money and stress when purchasing back to school items and decides what to wear every morning. My daughter was also in 2nd grade at public school becoming quite the fashion diva and I didn't like it. I really like how wearing uniforms has helped her relax and not give such importance to what she or others are wearing. School is the focus. We also enjoy that it is only a four day school week. The only thing I don't like is that it is a drive for us for about 15 minutes but it is worth it!”

Review: “My son is also autistic. He excelled beyond my wildest dreams. He was ultimately transferred to general population pre-k along with some of his peers and his growth and development continue to amaze me. My other son has been attending since kinder and I cannot say enough about Mrs. Nowell. She rocks!!!! She is honest, genuinely loving, strict, and understanding. Both Kim Hill and Mrs. Nowell dealt with it appropriately and kept it moving!!! I get daily reports via email on my boys progress and his challenges. I will make sure my boys stay in the Litchfield school district throughout their student careers. Ms. Hartwick is also the bomb!!! The only time I have ever seen her in her office is when I had a conference with her. Other than that she is in the trenches even during the summer months you can see her and her umbrella ushering our little angels from point A to point B and C if necessary. I absolutely love that they apply appropriate levels of discipline and follow it up by an equal amount of love. Both of my boys know what is expected of them and they voluntarily strive to meet and exceed those goals. LES ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!”
