The market remains relatively the same with low inventory and stable, slowly rising home values in most areas of the Valley. September is typically a slower month for the Phoenix market and this usually starts our slower season through the end of the year.
This time of the year, however, can create some great opportunities for both buyers and sellers. Buyers can take advantage of less competition, especially for homes $200,000 and less. Sellers can let their home really shine on the market while other sellers wait until after the first of the year to list their home. Buyers can be very focused and motivated to purchase a home before the year's end so it can be a beneficial time of the year for both buyers and sellers. With interest rates remaining low this can be a great time to make a move.
